About Peabody Mountain Artisans

Our Story

Up on the side of Peabody Mountain, above the quaint Vermont village of Weston, Carol and Steve MacLaury live quietly among their berry patches, vegetable and flower gardens, and work as busily as the bees that zip around the beehives outside their blue house. After 30 years of buzzing tiny hand drills and molding porcelain powder onto gold to create teeth for those in need, Carol and Steve decided to embark on a new creative adventure.

Reviving a generations-old family hobby, Steve and Carol became beekeepers, then grew their hobby into the Peabody Mountain Artisan business. They have tended to millions of bees over the years and pour their endless creativity into their products of raw and creamed honey, pure beeswax candles, honey soaps, and handcrafted jewelry of silver and stone.

All of Peabody Mountain Artisans’ products are made in very small batches with the finest ingredients. Their goal is to create unique and quality products.
